The number of car thefts has doubled this year - be cautious!

At a press conference of the Department of State Automobile Inspection (SAI) MIA of Ukraine, which was held on November 14th in the premises of SAI, a disappointing statistics on the number of stolen cars in the past ten months of this year was released. By the end of October on the territory of Ukraine more than 10,000 cases of misappropriation of vehicles are registered. In its turn, in the last year during the same period was recorded almost a half of number of car thefts - not more than five thousand.

Three leaders of the rankings were: Donetsk region, where car thefts have increased from 476 to 2115 cases; Lugansk region with an increase in the number of thefts from 382 to 1664 and the city of Kiev, where auto thefts increased from 479 to 1238 cases. Statistics once again underscores how critical the situation becomes. It should be noted that the subject of theft are increasingly prestigious and Premium Class cars.

Do not neglect the safety of your car! Remember that the alarm, installed in car, the purchasing of insurance policy or the GPS-monitoring system – it is only passive protection against theft, which does not guarantee the safety of the car, especially now, when on the territory of Ukraine there are also areas where the implementation of Ukrainian legislation is unwarranted.
