From now on the MUL-T-LOCK® 7x7 cylinders are available in VIP and 3-in-1 Keying

SPV Company Ltd. is pleased to announce our professional partners that now MUL-T-LOCK® 7x7 lock cylinders are available for VIP and 3-in-1 Keying options. Earlier VIP and 3-in-1 Keying options were only available on the MUL-T-LOCK® MT5+, Interactive and Classic platforms. Based on the consumer demand and the wide fame of these options on the Ukrainian market, it was decided to expand the number of platforms that support VIP and 3-in-1 Keying.

VIP option is designed for protection against unauthorized duplication of keys when installing the new lock or construction works, when the keys are in the hands of unauthorized persons. VIP complement consists of five keys and a code card, three of five keys –are the keys of the user, and two – the so-called "adjusting" keys. User’s keys are delivered in a sealed nontransparent package, and access without disturbing the packaging to them is impossible. The installation of the lock is performed thanks to the "adjusting" key, and then, to deny the access rights of the "adjusting" keys, the owner of the system has to close and open the lock once, using the user’s key.

In its turn, the main purpose of 3-in-1 Keying option – is a quick individual conversion of the cylinder’s code by user. This is convenient for those who often lose keys or wishes to instantly change the coding of the cylinder. The set of 3-in-1 Keying is composed of five keys, three of which have green mark – these are the working keys of the user, one yellow mark and one red mark. "Green" keys are intended for everyday use when opening and closing the doors until the code conversion of the cylinder is needed. In its turn, "yellow" and "red" keys are designed to change the combination. Keys should be used only in a strict sequence: first with the yellow mark, then with the red one. It should be remembered that the use of the "yellow" key will disable the access for the "green" ones and encodes the cylinder. The same will do the "red" key, which will recode the cylinder for a second time and disable the access for both "green" and "yellow" keys. After using the "yellow" and "red" keys it is impossible to bring back the combination of the "green" key.

As a result, the composition of the popular MUL-T-LOCK® 7x7 platform with not the less popular and useful VIP and 3-in-1 Keying options will expand the interactivity of the products based on the MUL-T-LOCK® 7x7 cylinder.
